Jakarta (Antara) - The Indonesia Corruption Watch (ICW) has urged members of the House of Representatives (DPR) to immediately select Busryo Muqoddas or Roby Arya Brata as KPK commissioner that have so far been submitted by the government. "DPR must immediately name one of them as chairman of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK)," ICW working committees' coordinator Ade Irawan said in a written statement recieved here on Sunday. He said the decision must be immediately made because the tenure of Busyro Muqoddas will end on December 10, 2014. After passing long selection processes the selection committee had chosen Busryo Muqoddas, current KPK commission, and Roby Arya Bratam an expert staff of the cabinet secretary, for submission to then President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono who later extended them to DPR on October 16 for a final decision. "The problem is that DPR has not yet followed it up with further tests while the time available is short as Busyro Muqoddas' tenure will end on December 6, 2014," he said. (*)
