Helmy Faishal Tours Lombok to Campaign for Jokowi

Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara (Antara) - Helmy Faishal, the associate chairman of the Nation Awakening Party (PKB) that supports the Jokowi-JK presidential ticket has toured Lombok to campaign for the pair's victory in the election on July 9. Accompanied by member of the party's advisory board KH Abdul Ghofur and deputy secretary general Lukmanul Khakim, he visited the Qomarul Huda Islamic boarding school managed by Tuan Guru Haji Lalu Muhammad Turmudzi Badaruddin in the village of Bagu, Pringgarat, Central Lombok. He visited the residence of TGH Turmudzi while the charismatic Islamic figure was holding a routine prayer event. With the consent of the host, Helmy and Ghofur on the occasion took an opportunity to clarify smear campaigns that have so far been addressed at Jokowi. He said besides meeting the criteria of an Islamic leader namely honest, trustful, communicative, smart and serving people Jokowi (Joko Widodo) is actually not an outsider for NU members.
