Jakarta (Antara) - The government has set a target for crude oil output from Cepu block in Banyu Urip field at 40,000 barrels per day in August. Energy and Mineral Resources Minister Jero Wacik said the oil production from the oilfield in the East Java and Central Java border would continue to rise in the following months . Jero Wacik said the production is predicted to reach 80,000 barrels per day in October and it would peak at 160,000 barrels per day in March or April, next year. If the Cepu production target could be realized, crude oil lifting would reach 818,000 barrel;s per day in 2014 , up to 830,000-870,000 barrels per day in 2015, Jero Wacik said. "The Cepu oil production would increase under a new government next year," he said. (*)
