Surabaya, E Java (Antaranews Jatim) - The National Entrepreneur Network (Japnas) is exploring investment potential in East Java's three districts of Sumenep, Blitar, and Sidoarjo this year.
Japnas Chairman Bayu Priawan Djokosoetono remarked here on Tuesday that investment potential in East Java is quite high, so Japnas should map the potential in each sector.
"The mapped potential is then made known to all Japnas officials," he stated.
According to Djokosoetono, each board of Japnas has different competencies to invest in East Java, such as in tourism, transportation, logistics, energy, and agriculture.
Djokosoetono remarked that currently, his side had coordinated with several parties in East Java to explore investment potential in the oil and gas, tourism, and agriculture sectors.
"We also have credible consultants to conduct feasibility studies on potential in the sector," he added.
Meanwhile, East Java Japnas Chairman Mohammad Supriyadi noted that he had held a business seminar at the Sheraton Hotel on Monday night to strengthen the business mission in the region of East Java.
"This activity aims to facilitate internal strengthening of the organization by establishing relations between entrepreneurs as well as to strengthen investment plans in East Java," he pointed out.(*)
