Beijing, (Antara) - Indonesian students in Shenyang, China, talked on violence in school, especially against teacher as happened in Madura, East Java, some time ago.
"We are very concerned about what happened to a teacher at a school in Madura, some time ago," said Chairman of Indonesian Student Association of Shenyang Branch, Kevin Hartono, to Antara in Beijing on Monday.
The discussion of violence against the teacher becomes a hot topic packaged in Basic Leadership Training.
In addition to the violence in schools, Indonesian students studying various disciplines in Liaoning Province also discussed hot topics in Indonesia such as the Trans-Papua road project, the Anti-Hoax Act, the efficiency of new political parties and the issues of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT).
"We summarize the results of this discussion as our main agenda in carrying out leadership in the Indonesian Students Association in China," Hartono, a student from Madiun, East Java, said.
After discussing some hot topics in Indonesia, the students then held an outbound event at Xinghai Beach.
"This outbound activity is to strengthen the bond between Indonesian students in Shenyang," Hartono added.
