Bojonegoro, East Java (Antara) - Floods hit a number of villages in Sumberrejo and Kanor sub-districts, Bojonegoro District, East Java Province, following incessant heavy rains, causing the Mengkuris River to overflow. Residential and agricultural areas were inundated with water reaching a height of between 30 cm and one meter in the villages of Simbatan, Smaberan, and Pesen, Head of Kanor Sub-district Supi Haryono stated here on Monday. "We do not know yet, the material loss following the overflowing of Mengkuris River, because it is still continuing to flood," he explained. (*)
