Sebesi, Lampung (Antara) - The Karakatau expedition team planted an Indonesian flag at the bottom of the Teluk Bekhak Sea, Sebuku Island, South Lampung, Lampung Province. "The expedition team also conducted a flag hoisting ceremony at the same spot where they planted the flag," Head of the South Lampung Tourism and Cultural Service Office M. Darmawan stated in Tejang Pulau Village, Sebesi Island, on Thursday. He revealed that they also visited other islands such as Sebuku Kecil Island and Sebuku Besar located around Sebesi Island. The Karakatau expedition team, initiated by the Indonesian tourism agency, tourism entrepreneurs, and South Lampung's tourism awareness group, also visited the Child of Karakatoa in Sunda Strait. (*)
