Bappenas Plans Every Regency and City Will have Technopark

Jakarta (Antara) - National Development Planning Board (Bappenas) head Adrinof Chaniago plans every regency and city will have a techno park to encourage economic growth and technology in each region. "The park will support strong economic foundation in the area," Andrinof said here on Thursday. He said that those were government's efforts to raise the role of the Research Center for Science and Technology (Puspitek) and of the Agency for Assessment and Application of Technology (BPPT) for the community. "There is a techno park in Solo. The techno park was built by Jokowi when he was the Solo mayor," he affirmed. (*)
