Jakarta (Antara) - The Indonesia's Democratic Party of Struggle (PDIP) will prepare documents for KPU against presidential candidate pair Prabowo Subianto-Hatta Rajasa's evidence of fraud during election following their filing of lawsuit with the Constitutional Court. "The Prabowo-Hatta pair has sued the General Elections Commission (KPU). Here, PDIP only stands as involved party in the suit," said Head of PDIP's Legal Team Trimedya Panjaitan here on Friday. Trimedya added that the preparation of documents was aimed at helping KPU during the trial, which had appointed senior lawyer Adnan Buyung Nasution as their attorney. Despite the individual's constitutional right, Trimedya doubted that the evidence of fraud owned by Prabowo-Hatta was strong enough to compare with KPU's documents from the presidential election process. He also questioned the motive behind Prabowo-Hatta's lawsuit, whether to increase their votes or merely an expression of unwillingness to lose. Separately, a member of Prabowo-Hatta's legal team, Habiburokhman, said the team had prepared all the evidence against fraud during election that would be transported in 15 vans to the Constitutional Court. Habiburokhman claimed that they owned 52,000 recapitulation documents, also known as C1 forms, which would be handed over to the court. "The point is we have prepared the evidence," he said at the Constitutional Court building here on Friday. (*)
