Jakarta (Antara) - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) on Wednesday continued its interrogation of Lalu Wildan, deputy for harmonization and partnership to the sports and youth minister, as a witness in the Hambalang Sports Complex corruption case. "I have been summoned to testify (about the alleged involvement of) AM in the Hambalang case," Lalu said at the KPK building here. AM, the former sports and youth minister, has been held at the KPK's detention house since Oct. 17. Lalu was last questioned on Sept. 4, but he refused to elaborate on the nature of the interrogation, saying it involved cooperating with the KPK in the Hambalang case. The KPK has also questioned the former chief of the sports and youth ministry's planning bureau, identified by his initials as DK, who has been named a suspect in the case, as well as staff member of the planning bureau Rio Wilarso. DK has been transferred to the custody of the South Jakarta municipal police from the KPK's detention center to prevent him from communicating with AM. In the Hambalang case, the KPK has named three suspects: DK; AM; and former operations director of state construction company PT Adhi Karya, identified by his initials as TBMN. According to the State Audit Board, the Hambalang case has created Rp463.66 billion in losses for the state. (*)
