President Director of Dutasari Held in KPK Detention

Jakarta (Antara) - The Corruption Eradication Commission on Friday arrested the president director of PT. Dutasari Citra Laras on charge of corruption in the Hambalang Sport Center project. Machfud Suroso was sent to the detention cell after being grilled by the anti graft agency, Johan Budi, the KPK spokesman said. Dutasari was a sub-contractor of state-owned construction company PT Adhi Karya that held the contract to build the Hambalang Sport Center project. "Investigation will not stop with the arrest of Machfud," Johan said, indicating more suspects are possible. A number of suspects have been convicted and other suspects are still in the process of investigations in the high profile Hambalang case. Former sport minister Andi Mallarangeng, a senior official of the ministry Deddy Kusdinar and a director of Adhi Karya Teuku Bagus Mokhamad Noor are serving jail terms and former general chairman of the ruling Democratic Party Anas Urbaningrum is facing trial as a suspect.
