20 Indonesian Nationals repatriated from Yemen

Jakarta (Antara) -- The government of Indonesia repatriated 20 citizens from Yemen, a press statement from the Foreign Affairs Ministry said.
The statement received here on Monday added that some 20 Indonesian nationals from Yemen arrived at the Soekarno-Hatta International Airport of Jakarta on Sunday by a Yemen Air flight.
The Indonesian nationals were brought from Yemen by the Indonesian Embassy in Sana\'a, in cooperation with relevant authorities in the country.
After arriving at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, they returned to their respective hometowns in South Sumatra, Maluku, Aceh, and Central Java.
A press statement from the embassy noted that there are as many as 4,159 Indonesians in Yemen, comprising 2,626 students, 1,488 migrant workers, and 45 staffers of the embassy.
They are scattered in various cities in Yemen, in Mukalla, Tarim, Hodaidah, Aden and Zabid, among other places.
\"They were voluntarily repatriated from Yemen,\" a spokesman for the Indonesian embassy, Arrmanatha Nasir, said, adding that despite the political conflict in Yemen, the Indonesian embassy in Sana\'a has yet to declare an emergency situation for the mandatory repatriation of Indonesian citizens.
