Jakarta (Antara) - The coalition party members have not proposed names for ministerial posts in the future cabinet of president-elect Joko Widodo, a party chief said.
Surya Paloh, the general chairman of the National Democrat Party (Nasdem), said here on Monday that no specific talks had taken place with regard to filling ministerial posts in the future cabinet.
He said that the coalition established by the Indonesia Democratic Party Struggle (PDIP), Nasdem, the Nation Awakening Party (PKB), the People's Conscience Party (Hanura), and the Indonesia Unity and Justice Party (PKPI) to support the Joko Widodo-Jusuf Kalla duo in the July 9 presidential election was free of any conditions.
"The coalition has been established without certain conditions. The cabinet will be filled by selected people," he said at the residence of Megawati Soekarnoputri, the general chairperson of PDIP, after exchanging Idul Fitri greetings.
On the occasion, the general chairman of Hanura, retired general Wiranto, meanwhile expressed confidence that one of his party cadres will be chosen to join in the Jokowi government as a minister.
"I believe my cadre will be there, but let us wait and see," he said. (*)
