Manado, N Sulawesi (Antara) - The North Sulawesi office of Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) said Chinese tourists made up the largest number of visitors to the province in February. There were 1,079 foreign visitors to North Sulawesi in February and Chinese tourists made up 237 of them, head of the regional office of BPS Faizal Anwar said here on Thursday. The second largest number was German visitors totaling 98 persons, followed by Singaporeans totaling 80 persons, Faizal said. The number of foreign visitors to North Sulawesi fell 30.84 percent from 1,552 in the same month last year, he said, giving no reason for the decline. (*)
