US Ambassador Congratulates East Java Governor

Surabaya, E Java (Antara) - The US Ambassador to Indonesia Robert Blake congratulated Soekarwo and Saifullah Yusuf who will be installed as East Java governor and vice governor respectively on Wednesday. "Congratulations for your re-election and inauguration as the governor and vice governor of East Java," Robert Blake noted on the sidelines of his meeting with Soekarwo here on Wednesday. Blake, who was appointed the US Ambassador to Indonesia recently, stated that the re-election of the Soekarwo-Saifullah pair will enable his country to develop wider cooperation in several fields. "So far, the United States has established cooperation with Indonesia, East Java in particular. Hopefully, the cooperation will expand and develop further," he remarked. (*)
