Four Soldiers from Kendari will b Sent to Sudan

Kendari, Southeast Sulawesi (Antara) - At least four soldiers from the Infantry Battalion (Yonif) 725 Woroagi/Wirabuana Kendari will be part of the peacekeeping force to be deployed in Darfur, Sudan.
"Before their deployment in Sudan, they will undergo a variety of evaluations including physical, mental, and English language tests organized by the TNI Headquarters," stated Commander of Military Resort 143/Haluoleo Colonel Andi Sumageruka, in Kendari on Monday.
Andi noted that the four soldiers include Master Sergeant Rhysfan Rante, Sergeant First Class Gilang Pramuzi, Private Specialist Arfan, and Private Specialist Amirullah.
Andi pointed out that it was the first instance that the Yonif 725 Woroagi Battalion is sending its soldiers to join the Garuda Contingent, which will later be joined by the soldiers from armies belonging to various countries that are members of the UN and African Union.
"The Garuda Contingent will take part in a UN peacekeeping mission for a period of one year," he added.
In this regard, Andi felt a sense of pride and offered prayers so that the soldiers perform tasks to the best of their abilities and returned safely back to Indonesia. (*)
