Jakarta (Antara) - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono has praised Indonesia's under-23 soccer team for their unrelenting fighting spirits in the SEA Games finals on Saturday although they lost 0-1 to Thailand. "Indonesia is proud of the Garuda U-23 Team's maximum struggle in the SEA Games," the President tweeted on his Twitter account on Sunday. He asked all members of the team to maintain their fighting spirits and continue to improve their skills for the next tournaments. "Keep your spirits up and improve the quality of your games," he said. Indonesia failed to end its long soccer-gold drought after losing to Thailand in the finals on Saturday. The country last won a gold medal from the SEA Games soccer in 1991. (*)
