Police Hospital to Perform DNA Test on Killed Terror Suspects

Jakarta (Antara) - Police have taken the bodies of two suspected terrorists killed in an operation recently to Dr. Sukanto police hospital in Kramat Jati, East Jakarta, for DNA testing, a police spokesman said.
"The bodies of the two suspected terrorists are taken to the hospital because police plan to conduct medical handling on them," the spokesperson of the National Police Headquarters, Insp. Gen. Ronny F Sompie, said here on Tuesday.
The medical handling include cleaning them, treatment and DNA testing, he said.
Meanwhile, two other suspected terrorists who surrendered in a recent raid in Tulungagung District, East Java, are still being investigated by Police anti-terror unit Densus 88
The two who surrendered are MH (38) and S (49). They have so far been in the police's wanted list [DPO],
Sompie said both MH and S hail from Tulungagung, East Java.
"MH worked as a part-time teacher in an elementary school and S was a staff member of the people's welfare section of the local village administration," Sompie said.
On Monday (July 22), while four suspected terrorists were waiting for a bus at 0.8.45 local time on Jalan Pahlawan, Kedungwaru, in Tulungagung District police anti-terrorist squad Densus 88 members, who had followed them since Saturday, came and later caught them.
A shootout took place when one of them, Dayah, drew a firearm causing Dayah and Rizal to die but the two others surrendered.
The four suspected terrorists are allegedly involved in terrorist attacks in Poso, Central Sulawesi, Solo, Central Java, Medan, North Sumatera and Bali. (*)
