Bali Arts Festival Featuring Five Artistic Events

Denpasar (Antara) - Bali Arts Festival (PKB) 2013 or the 35th of its kind was featuring five artistic events on the first day, organizing committee has said. The five artistic events were performed on Sunday from 11.00am local time until night at five locations, Wayan Dauh, one of the PBK organizing committee members said here on Sunday. The Bali Arts Festival which was opened by President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono on Saturday (June 15), was also participated in by four other representatives namely Sumenep (East Java), Lampung Barat (Lampung province), Papua province and neighboring country Timor Leste. Eight districts and one city in Bali also showed their best in the PKB, Wayan said, adding that the arts event will take place until July 13. The PKB opening ceremony was among other things attended by Education and Cultural Minister Muhammad Nuh, Tourism and Creative Economy Minister Mari Elka Pangestu and Bali governor, Made Mangku Pastika.
