Timika, Papua, May 14 (Antara) - Dozens of PT Freeport Indonesia's employees were buried in a landslide during a safety training in Big Gossan underground site, Tembagapura, on Tuesday at around 08.00 a.m. Eastern Indonesia Time. Head of Mimika Sector Police Office Adjunct Senior Commissioner Jeremias Rontini said on Tuesday that the Emergency Response Team had been deployed to evacuate the victims. "However, we have no report of the casualty exact number as the evacuation is underway," Rontini said. The management of PT.Freeport Indonesia reported that more than 20 workers were inside the Big Gossan tunnel during the training.(*)
