Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Indonesian national esports team emerged as the overall champions of the 2026 SEA Esports Nations Cup (ENC) in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, Saturday evening.

The team secured three gold, one silver, and one bronze medal to dominate the regional competition.

Indonesia's path to victory was solidified on Saturday night following a series of clinical performances across multiple titles.

The "Merah Putih" squad secured gold medals in PUBG Mobile Solo, Teamfight Tactics, and a hard-fought Crossfire: Legends final.

National team head coach Richard Permana confirmed the achievement on Sunday, stating that “with three gold medals, Indonesia is the absolute overall champion of SNC 2026.”

The medal tally began with a dominant showing in the PUBG Mobile Solo category, where Alan Raynold Kumaseh and Fazriel Haikal Aditya secured the gold and silver medals, respectively.

The duo later teamed up to add a bronze medal to the national count in the PUBG Mobile Duo competition.

In the Teamfight Tactics (TFT) division, Stefanus Aditya Witjaksono delivered a dramatic comeback to secure Indonesia's second gold.

Despite a rocky start where he finished seventh in the opening game, Witjaksono adjusted his strategy to dominate the subsequent rounds.

"In Game 2, I stayed patient in the early game waiting for a power spike; it was a very close game, but I finally managed to win," Witjaksono explained.

He attributed his success to a rigorous training regimen, noting that he participated in "study groups with world-class TFT players" and conducted extensive statistical and video reviews.

The final gold was clinched by the Crossfire: Legends squad after a high-stakes victory against host nation Vietnam in a dramatic final match.

This victory placed Indonesia at the top of the leaderboards, surpassing second-place Vietnam, which finished with one gold, three silver, and one bronze.

Thailand and Singapore followed in third and fourth place, each securing a single gold medal.

Malaysia rounded out the top five with three bronze medals.
