First meeting since inauguration, President Prabowo and Jokowi reunite in Solo

Solo, C. Java (ANTARA) - President Prabowo Subianto met with former President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) at the latter's residence in Solo, Central Java, on Sunday evening.

Prabowo arrived at around 6:20 p.m. local time in a white minivan.

Upon arriving at the residence, Prabowo waved from inside the vehicle to greet the reporters who had come to cover the event.

He then entered Jokowi's residence and stayed inside for about 30 minutes.

This was the first time the two met after Prabowo was officially inaugurated as the 8th President of Indonesia on October 20.

On the same day as the presidential inauguration, Jokowi returned to his hometown of Solo, where he is enjoying his retirement.

After the meeting, Prabowo, who was wearing a blue shirt, and Jokowi, who was wearing a white shirt, came outside the residence.

Before entering the vehicle, Prabowo and Jokowi greeted the reporters.

The two leaders then used the same white minivan to go to Angkringan Omah Semar, a restaurant that serves a variety of traditional Javanese dishes.
