Jakarta (Antara) - The Nahdlatul Ulama Executive Board (PBNU) has expressed its agreement if President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) and Vice President Jusuf Kalla planned to reshuffle the cabinet ministers in an effort to step up the government performance. "If the president believes that part of his cabinet ministers show low performances after being inaugurated eight months ago, we as a mass organization just agree (over the planned reshuffle)," PBNU general chairman KH Said Aqil Siroj said here on Thursday, commenting on the discourse of the "working cabinet" reshuffle issue. Siroj believed that some ministers in the Cabinet of Joko Widodo-Jusuf Kalla (Jokowi-JK) perform well such as in the field of security affairs. However, another part of the ministers performed less favorable, especially in the economic sector, Siroj stated, explaining that the increasing prices of some staple foods and the decline of rupiah currency value against the US dollar indicted low performance in the economic sector.(*) Reported by Sigit Pinardi
