President to Have Discourse on Cabinet Reshuffle in October

Padang, W Sumatra - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono will have a discourse on a cabinet reshuffle on October 20, 2011, Democratic Party Chairman Anas Urbaningrum said here on Friday.
"To improve the cabinet ministers' performance, the president plans to reshuffle his cabinet on October 20," Anas Urbaningrum said.
According to him, the reshuffle in October will be conducted by President Yudhoyono to improve the cabinet's performance, and not for political aims.
"We believe the reshuffle is not for political horse-trading but to improve of the cabinet's performance," the Democratic Party chairman.
Asked about the ministers to be replaced, Anas said it was completely up to the president.
"President Yudhoyono has a complete report about the ministers whom he wanted to have replaced in October," Anas said, adding that the Democratic Party would not interfere in the reshuffle by the president.
"The reshuffle is entirely the authority of the president and that the Democratic Party will not interfere," Anas said.
He pointed out that the Democratic Party itself had yet to propose to the president the names of the prospective ministers in the reshuffle on October 20, 2011.
Anas expressed hope that after the reshuffle, the new ministers would improve their performance and serve the community as best as possible. ***3***
