Jakarta (Antara) - A member of the National Police Commission (Kompolnas) said it looks unlikely that police would issue SP3 (letter stopping legal investigations of cases) for the case involving deputy chairman of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Bambang Widjojanto. "I don't think there would be SP3 for the case of BW (Bambang Widjojanto)," Kompolnas commissioner Adrianus Meliala said here on Sunday. Bambang was arrested by police on Friday on charge of false testimony at a Constitutional Court session in 2010 investigating dispute over election for the Kotawaringing district head, Central Kalimantan. The arrest of Bambang was seen as a retaliation by police after KPK named Comr.Gen. Budi Gunawan, a corruption suspect. KPK named Budi Gunawan a suspect a day before the Parliament held the standard procedure of fit and proper test for him as a sole candidate picked by President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) to replace police chief Gen. Sutarman. (*)
