Nine Corpses of AirAsia Crash Victims Identified

Surabaya, E Java (Antara) -- A total of nine bodies of the ill-fated AirAsia QZ8501 aircraft have been identified, the East Java provincial police chief Insp. Gen. Anas Yusuf has said.
Insp. Gen. Anas Yusuf told the press at the police Crisis Centre here on Sunday that three of the nine identified bodies are Wismoyo Ari Prambudi,24, from Klaten, J Stephie Gunawan,10, and Juanita Limantara,30 are from Surabaya, he said.
Meanwhile, head of Police Headquarters Medical Affairs Brig.Gen.
Arthur Tampi said Wismoyo Ari Prambudi labeled B018, based on the primary identification of teeth and fingerprints, is identical between the post mortem and ante mortem data.
"Then, secondary data showed 170-175 centimeters high, thus it is undeniable as Wismoyo Ari Prambudi," Tampi said.
The second body labeled B015 was identified by fingerprint method, and the secondary data is 10 years old. Based on the airport CCTV when boarding, the passenger was wearing a long-sleeved pink sweater, blue jeans pants, t-shirts emblazoned "Minny Mouse".
"In accordance with the data, it is undeniable that this is the corpse of J Stephie Gunawan," Tampi noted.
While the third bodies labeled B016 was known from the fingerprints and dental identical of ante mortem and post mortem, the secondary data showed the victim is 30 years of age. Therefore, it is undeniable the body belonged to Juanita Limantara from Surabaya.
Six previous corpses which have been identified are Hayati Lutfiah Hamid, Grayson Herbert Linaksita, Kevin Alexander Soetjipto, Khairunnisa Haidar Fauzi, Hendra Gunawan Sawal, Themeiji Tejakusuma, Wismoyo Ari Prambudi, J Stephanie Gunawan and Juanita Limantara.
"Twenty-one more bodies haven't yet been identified," Tampi explained.
A total of 34 bodies of the victims of the ill-fated AirAsia QZ8501 aircraft have been evacuated, according to National Search and Rescue Agency (Basarnas) chief Vice Marshal F Henry Bambang Soelistyo. (*)
