Jakarta (Antara) -- The Attorney General's Office questioned the former president director of state postal company PT Pos Indonesia, I Ketut Mardjana, on Wednesday. Mardjana was asked to appear as a witness in an alleged case of corruption related to the procurement of portable data terminals. "The questioning of the former president director is related to his position at that time. He was one of the persons who signed the contract for the procurement of the equipment," head of the law information center at the Attorney General's Office, Tony T Spontana, said. A team of investigators also questioned Palti M Siahaan, the manager of PT Pos Indonesia's data processing, and Anhar Rosyidi, the manager of the company's data center, as witnesses in the case. Furthermore, the director of PT Datindo Infonet Prima, Effendy Christina, who had been named as a suspect, did not show up. She had applied to the Attorney General's Office for suspension of her questioning. "The investigators will reschedule her questioning," Spontana affirmed. (*)
