Surabaya, E Java (Antara) - The battle between the government-backed Great Indonesian Coalition and the Red-White Coalition in the House of Representatives (DPR) has ended on Sunday, a senior politician of the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDIP) said.
Speaking to journalists here Sunday, Pramono Anung said that the two camps' differences regarding the leadership positions for DPR's internal bodies have thoroughly been resolved.
"This problem is actually nothing to do with the people but if it is not solved, the House cannot work. Thank God, it has been resolved," he said after speaking at an occasion organized by the Surabaya-based Airlangga University.
The two camps' agreement would even be signed in Bandung, the capital of West Java Province, on Sunday.
"To day, I will leave for Bandung to sign the agreement with Hatta Rajasa, coordinator of the Red-White Coalition," said Pramono Anung, the Great Indonesian Coalition coordinator. (*)
