Jakarta (Antara) - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) grilled Andika Hazrumy, the son of non-active governor of Banten province in West Java, Ratu Atut Chosiyah Chasan, on Monday in connection with his mother's case. "The questions were around my mother," Andika said after the questioning. He arrived at KPK Building at around 12.35 pm and left the building at 6.30pm. Other issues raised by KPK investigators were about health equipment procurement and his family's assets. "I only clarified what I need to clarify in connection with my mother's case," he said. He said other issues questioned were related to governor's tasks and duties. Andika has been elected as a parliament member (DPR) from Golkar Party for the period of 2014-2019. From 2009 to 2014 meanwhile he was a member of the Regional Representatives Council (DPD) of Banten province. Atut has been charged with corruption with regard to health equipment procurement in Banten province, receiving bribes in connection with the health equipment procurement case and bribing former Constitutional Court chief justice Akil Mochtar in connection with the election of head of Lebak district in Banten. In the case of the election of head of Lebak district Atut has been sentenced to four years in jail and fined Rp200 million. (*) reporting by hafidz mubarak
