Jakarta (Antara) - Presidential and vice presidential candidate Joko Widodo and Jusuf Kalla (Jokowi-JK pair) has promised to improve human resources quality by providing Indonesia smart cards, according to Jokowi-JK success team spokesman Ferry Mursyidan Baldan.
"The Indonesia smart card program is part of free compulsory 12-year education starting from elementary school to higher level education," Ferry said here on Sunday.
According to him, Indonesia smart card is one of Jokowi-JK programs to carry out if elected as president and vice president on the July 9 presidential election because the human resources after 69 years of independence have not improved significantly.
"Twelve-year compulsory education is free and without levies
at state schools as well as private schools," said Ferry, the politician from the National Democrat Party (Nasdem). (*)
