Jakarta (Antara) - The Indonesian currency rupiah lost more value against the US dollar on Thursday. The currency traded at the level of 12,163 per US dollar weakening from 12,110 earlier. "Rupiah was relatively stable with a slight fall thanks to the country's positive economic data," Ruly Arya Wisnubroto, a financial market analyst from Bank Mandiri, said. Ruly said foreign funds still were flowing into the domestic market keeping rupiah from falling deeper. He said the attentions of the market players are drawn to the result of the Fed meeting next week and announcement of US economic data. The Fed is expected not to be too aggressive in trimming its massive financial stimulus with the US economic recovery still fell short of expectation, he said. (*)
