Anti-Graft Body Arrests Public Prosecutor

Jakarta (Antara) - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) arrested a public prosecutor on charges of receiving a bribe from a businesswoman on Saturday night. KPK spokesman Johan Budi confirmed the arrest of the head of the public prosecutor's office in Central Lombok district, West Nusa Tenggara province. But he declined to elaborate on the arrest. "We will explain it in a press conference at 01.30 p.m. this afternoon," he said. The public prosecutor was arrested, along with thousands of US dollars. (*)
