Anti-Graft Body Arrests Riau Governor

Jakarta (Antara) - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has arrested red-handed Riau Governor Annas Maamum. "Yes, (we have arrested him)," KPK Deputy Chairman Busyro Muqoddas said in a short message text on Thursday. But he stopped short of revealing the case in which the Riau governor had been involved. "We are still investigating it," he said. Some of the people linked to the case had arrived at the KPK building, KPK spokesman Johan Budi said. (*)
