Three Killed in a Fire in a West Java Village

Bekasi, W Java (Antara) - Three people were killed in a fire that gutted two houses in the village of Cibatu, Bekasi, West Java province on Sunday night.
The victims were identified as Inah (70) and her two grandchildren Anggi (10) dan Angga (six months).
"Apparently they had been trapped in the big fire and failed in their attempt to escape," police said, adding the scorched body of the 10 year old boy Anggi lied on the door and the other two bodies not far behind.
The parents of the two children were not at home when the fire hit their house.
The fire could be put under control an hour later by two fire trucks and the villagers, police said.
Police were still investigating the cause of the fire. (*)
