Densus 88 Arests Terrorist Suspect in Depok

Jakarta - Indonesia's anti-terror unit Densus 88 arrested a terrorist suspect named Firman at around 5.30 am in Depok, West Java, on Wednesday.
"An arrest has been made at 5.30am today on a terrorist suspect
named Firman (wanted over Solo terror attacks) on Jalan Kalimulya, Anyelir 2 Block F2, Depok," National Police head of public relations division Inspector General Anang Iskandar said.
Firman is believed to be involved in the attacks on police officers in Solo, Central Java, recently.
"The suspect is now being intensively interrogated by Densus 88," he said.
"Before conducting the attacks "Firman and Bayu surveyed (the location)," National Police head of public information bureau Brigadier General Boy Rafli Amar meanwhile said.
Terrorist suspects attacked the police posts in Solo on August 17, 18 and 30.
Chief Brigadier Dwi Data Subekti died on August 8 on the scene in a shooting attack at a police post on Plaza Singosaren.
"Firman rode a motorbike with Farhan in the action while Mukhsin and Bayu surveyed the location," he said.
Farhan and Mukhsin died during a shootout with Densus recently in which a Densus 88 officer was killed while Bayu was caught in Karanganyar, Central Java, he said. (*)
