Jakarta (Antara) - Indonesia\'s Under-23 (U-23) soccer team (Timnas) crushed Timor-Leste\'s squad 5-0 in the qualifying match of AFC Cup at Jakarta\'s Bung Karno main stadium (GBK) on Friday night (March 27). The five goals were scored by Adam Alis (17th minute), Manahati Lestusen (45th minute), Evan Dimas (50th minute), Muchlis Hadi Ning Syaifulloh (65th minute) and Hansamu Yama (85th minute). The Indonesian team (Garuda Muda) dominated the game from the start, putting pressure on Timor-Leste. Starting from a free kick by Evan Dimas, Muchlis Hadi Ning Syaifulloh was violated by a defender of Timor-Leste. This made the referee point to the white spot. Manahati Lestusen, who was appointed as executioner, successfully carried out his duty and gave Garuda Muda a 2-0 lead. In the second half, Evan Dimas kicked the ball from the right side of the opponent\'s post to score a goal at the 50th minute. After making considerable attempts in front of the Ramos Saozinho goal, Muchilis Hadi Ning Syaifulloh of Garuda Muda scored another goal at the 65th minute. Then Garuda Muda\'s defender Hansam Yama deceived the opponent goalkeeper by scoring the fifth goal at the 85th minute and the Indonesian squad wrapped the game by 5-0 lead over the Timnr-Leste team. Based on the schedule for the AFC cup qualifiers, South Korea will play Brunei Darussalam on Friday (March 27). The Indonesian squad will play Brunei Darussalam on Sunday, March 29, while South Korea will face Timor-Leste.
