Malaysia wants its Relationship with Indonesia as US and UK

Batam, Riau (Antara) - Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Shabery Cheek has expected the Malaysian and Indonesian relations as that of the United States and the United Kingdom ties which support each other.
"Malaysia always supports Indonesia and so does Indonesia," Datuk Seri Ahmad Shabery Cheek said here on Sunday.
US and UK which are separated by the ocean, always support the policy of each country. Indonesia and Malaysia which are only separated by Malacca Strait should support each other, he hoped.
"We are only separated by the Strait of Malacca, so we should support each other," he affirmed.
Not only limited to domestic policy, Indonesia and Malaysia mutually support policies related to international issues, such as the US and the UK.
"Right or wrong, you are my brother," Minister said.
In the same occasion, Indonesian Communications and Information Minister Rudiantara stated actually different country also has a difference. But, every country should look for similarities of other countries.
"We should look for similarities. We should remind each other deeply. The communication is looking for similarities, not the differences," he pointed out.
