French Journalists Sentenced to two Years in Jail Papua

Jayapura, Papua (Antara) - Two French journalists Thomas Charles Dandois and Valentine Burot are sentenced to two years and 15 days in jail for violating their stay visa in Papua.
The verdict was issued at Jayapura's state court, here, Friday.
Both journalists were arrested by the Papua police last August for violating the Indonesian law after conducting a journalistic work without permit in a sensitive area where shooting incident had happened.(*)
