Sukabumi, W Java (Antara) - An Indonesian migrant worker in Saudi Arabia died due to burn injuries after the gas stove in her employer's kitchen exploded on Friday (July 11), stated a relative of the ill-fated employee. The death of 35-year-old Ade was purely a workplace accident, and her employer had done his best to save her life, Enih, the worker's relative, noted here on Thursday. The accident occurred when Ade was cooking in the kitchen of her employer's house, but the gas stove suddenly exploded, and the fire burnt her body, she remarked. Her employer's family brought her to a local hospital, but she died due to severe burn injuries, Enih stated, adding that she and her mourning family members thanked Ade's employer for his help. "We have been told that Ade's body will soon be sent home from Saudi Arabia for burial," Enih added. Meanwhile, Head of Sukabumi District Workforce Office's Placement of Workers Division, Supena, declared that he had yet to receive a report on Ade's death, but he promised to assist the process of transporting her body and other things that will help her family to claim insurance.
