Jakarta (Antara) - Indonesia's National Police has arrested a person with initials DM (28) as suspect in uploading child porn videos on the Internet and found 120 thousand porn videos on his laptop, half of them involving children. During a press conference at the Criminal Investigation Department of National Police here on Tuesday, Brigadier General Arief Sulistyanto stated that the suspect, DM, confessed that he had downloaded those videos and then re-uploaded it on three reseller sites since 2012. "But indeed, we don't believe what he has said. We presume there are others who have made these videos and we will investigate further to reveal the case for the sake of our kids' safety," clarified Director of Specific Criminal Offense Brigadier General Arief Sulistyanto. Arief explained that the case concerning the disclosure of child porn videos trade had been through investigations for eight months and was held as a follow up to the previous 14 thousand porn videos that were found. The suspect DM was caught in a rented house in 46th Haji Akbar Street, Cicendo Sub-District, Bandung, West Java, on Monday (Feb. 24) at 3 a.m. local time. The Police had taken two mobile phones, a laptop, an Internet modem, three ATM cards, and three passbooks as evidence from the location. At the same time, Head of Cyber Crime Department Senior Commissioner Rahmat Wibowo explained that based on early identification, some of the child porn videos were made in Indonesia. "More than a hundred videos involved 10 to 12 year-old children, and based on the location, language and observation of the clothes worn, we can conclude that it was made in Indonesia," Rahmat explained.
