Jakarta (Antara) - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono has said on his Twitter account @SBYudhoyono that the final meeting of the United Nations' High Level Panel he chaired in New York on Wednesday took place smoothly and produced a good decision. "On Wednesday evening I chaired the final meeting of the UN High Level Panel to discuss post 2015 development agenda at UN Headquarters in New York. Alhamdulillah (Thank God) the meeting ran smoothly with a good result," President Yudhoyono said. The Indonesian head of state said the consensus of the discussion on poverty reduction through sustainable development has been agreed and will soon be submitted to UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon. "After 9 months of work and through serious debates, the consensus in finally reached. Tomorrow I will hand in the High Level Panel report to the UN chief," Yudhoyono said. President Yudhoyono on Wednesday evening chaired the UN High Level Panel meeting in Conference Room 6, North Lawn Building, at the United Nations Headquarters. UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon has asked President Yudhoyono, British Prime Minister David Cameron and Liberian President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf to co-chair the meeting to discuss the post-2015 development agenda. In the last meeting, however, British Prime Minister David Cameron and Liberian President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf were unable to attend it. They were represented by British International Development Minister Justine Greening and Liberian Vice President Joseph Nyuma Boakai. (*)
