Jakarta (Antara) -- Jakarta-based Centre for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) reviewed Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono's (SBY) 10 years of presidency as a retrospective outlook. "The comprehensive contributions of the review answers questions about what we did in the past, where we are now, and where we will head from here on," Executive Director of the CSIS Rizal Sukma said here on Monday. The review contains research articles and viewpoints of researchers, academics, practitioners, policymakers, and students in a range of fields, bundled as a special issue of "The Indonesian Quarterly: SBY's 10 Years." The Indonesian Quarterly is a peer-reviewed, policy-oriented journal published by the CSIS devoted to bridging the gap between academic research and policy-making on issues related to political, economic, and strategic challenges. A lecturer from Paramadina University, Dinna Wisnu, stated during a discussion on the journal that Yudhoyono was a leader proficient in establishing collegial relations. "SBY took the initiative to discuss environmental issues such as climate change and the Reducing Emissions from Deforestation and Forest Degradation (REDD) program," she pointed out. (*)
