Police Search Rented House in Bandung

Bandung (Antara) - Police searched a rented house here on Thursday, a day after three terrorist suspects were killed in a firefight with a police anti-terror squad at Cigondewah village in Bandung district.
By 05.10 p.m. on Thursday a joint team of the Indonesia automatic finger print identification system (Inafis) of the West Java provincial police and the detective and crime unit of the Bandung city police was still searching the house on Jl. Arum Sari VII No. 21 here, an Antara journalist observed.
The motive behind the search is still unclear.
But according to a source in the field, the search is a follow up to a raid on terrorist suspects at Cigondewah village.
The police also put police line in the entrance of the street about 100 meters away from the rented house.
Earlier, on Wednesday, three terrorist suspects were killed and another was arrested alive during a firefight with a police anti-terror squad Densus 88 at Cigondewah and Margaasih in Bandung district.
The suspects killed are identified as Budi Syarif alias Angga, Sarane and Jonet while the other who is alive is Haris Fauzi.
The anti-terror squad on Wednesday also conducted a raid at Cipacing, Sumedang district, West Java, and caught Masum believed to be involved in the terrorist network. (*)
