Jakarta (Antara) - Indonesia and Britain will follow up creative economic cooperation through a working team, approved by Indonesian Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy and British Council. In a press statement here on Wednesday, Harry Waluyo, the Secretary for Body of Resource Development in the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, said there would be a concrete implementation of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Creative Industries between the two countries that has been signed before. "The Tourism and Creative Economy Ministry and British Council Jakarta have implemented 'The First Joint Working Group on Creative Industries between RI-UK' through a video conference on February 21, 2013 in Jakarta," Harry said. He led the dialog in the video conference with Keith Davies from British Council Jakarta and British Council London. Harry noted that Britain is an important country for Indonesia because the two countries have had good bilateral relations since 1949. Harry said he believed that the discussion and exchange of view in the video conference aimed to explore the potentials from the two countries in every creative industrial sub sector.(*)
