Police Search Murder Suspect John Key's House

Jakarta - Police on Saturday searched the house of John Kei accused of murdering PT Sanex Steel Indonesia director Tan Harry Tantono to find evidence of his involvement in the case.
"The search of the suspect's house took place at around 03.00 p.m. on Saturday," spokesman of the Jakarta Metropolitan Police Snr Comr. Rikwanto said on Sunday.
The search was conducted at John Kei's house in Titian Indah housing complex in Bekasi, West Java.
A total of 135 police personnel were involved in the search for security and public order reasons, he said.
During the search, police confiscated two dark brown leather jackets, two orange and red hats, one black jeans, and one black T-shirt, he said.
Police also found three spears in front of his house's gutter, he said.
In addition, police also seized a pair of white shoes and two firearms at the residence of his charges, he said.
Rikwanto said nobody was allowed to visit John Kei who had just undergone a medical check at the police hospital in Kramat Jati, East Jakarta for security reasons.
Tan Hari Tanoto alias Ayung was found dead with his throat slit in a room of the Swissbel Hotel, Sawah Besar, North Jakarta, recently.
Police caught John Kei and his girl friend, Alba Fuad, at a hotel in Pulomas, East Jakarta, on Friday (Feb 2).
Police shot John Kei on the calf of his right foot as he resisted arrest. (*)
