Jakarta, (Antara) - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) received letters of credential from ambassadors extraordinary and plenipotentiary from nine countries at the Merdeka Palace, here, Tuesday.
Eight ambassadors will be based in Jakarta and one in another country.
The eight ambassadors are Julio Arturo Cardenas of Peru, Nambora of Cambodia, Ny Ei Ei Khin Aye of Myanmar, Elsiddieq Abdulaziz Abdalla of Sudan, Hakeem Balogun of Nigeria, Vegard Kaale of Norway, Rasmus Abildgaard of Denmark, and Pradeep Kumar Rawat of India.
Ramadhani Kitwana Day is the new Tanzanian ambassador to Indonesia, but he is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
President Jokowi was accompanied by Foreign Affairs Minister Retno L. P. Marsudi, Minister/State Secretary Pratikno, and Deputy Foreign Minister A. M. Fachir.(*)
