Jakarta (Antara) - Presidential candidate Prabowo Subianto is to give a press statement after the General election Commission (KPU) announces the winner of presidential election on Tuesday. "He will convey his and the whole campaign team's reaction regarding the result of election announced by the KPU today," said a member of Prabowo's campaign team Harris Bobihoe here on Tuesday at Prabowo campaign team's headquarter in Rumah Polonia, East Jakarta. Harris said Prabowo's team would wait for the announcement from the KPU and would possibly challenge the result of election if the campaign team found fraud during the election process. Harris also said Prabowo Subianto and his running mate Hatta Radjasa would observe the KPU's announcement on presidential election winner from the campaign team's headquarter in East Jakarta area. "Prabowo and Hatta choose not to come to KPU's office in Central Jakarta so as to maintain conducive situation. Because if the supporters hear Prabowo and Hatta will come to KPU, they too want to come," said Harris. The KPU will announce the official result of presidential election on Tuesday (July 22). Two pairs of contestants run for presidential bid in the 2014 election--Prabowo Subianto and his vice presidential candidate Hatta Radjasa and Joko Widodo with his running mate Jusuf Kalla. According to the KPU, a total of 190,307,134 voters have been registered (including 2,038,711 overseas voters), with 486,866 polling stations across the archipelago. (*)
