S. Kalimantan's Student Association Collects Aid for Gaza

Banjarmasin, S Kalimantan, (Antara) - Chairman of the South Kalimantan chapter of the Indonesian Muslim Student Association (KB-PII) Chairani Idris recently handed over humanitarian aid for Gaza to Taher Hamad, first secretary of the Palestinian embassy in Jakarta.
Taher Hamad thanked the Indonesians for helping Palestinian people who were being victims of the Israeli military aggression, Idris told Antara here on Tuesday.
The cash worth Rp27.5 million was presented to the Palestinian embassy on July 11, 2014.
A number of other mass organizations such as Hizbut Tahrir Indonesia (HTI) and the Muslim Student Association (HMI) in South Kalimantan also collected financial aid for the inhabitants of Gaza. (*)
