Jakarta (Antara) - The employer who allegedly abused an Indonesian worker in Hong Kong recently had been detained by Hong Kong police, according to a press statement from Indonesian Consulate General Office in Hong Kong on Tuesday. According to the press statement, the Hong Kong police caught the employer with the initial LWT on January 20, when she tried to leave Hong Kong. LWT was detained over an allegation that she had abused Erwiana Sulistyaningsih. Erwiana is now hospitalized in Sragen, Central Java province, Indonesia. The police is still investigating the abuse case. Officials from Indonesian Consulate General Office and Hong Kong police are now in Sragen to collect information from the victim. (*)
