President Urges IPDN Graduates to Fight Corruption

Sumedang, West Java (Antara) - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono has urged the graduates of the Institute of Public Administration (IPDN) to fight corruption.
At the IPDN campus in Jatinangor, the president addressed 1,459 students, who will become public servants upon graduation, and urged them to fight abuse of authority and corruption.
"Carry out your duties in a responsible manner and uphold the oath of office to the Lord, the government, and the society by fighting corruption," said the president.
The head of state urged the young public servants to carry out their duties in a responsible manner and serve the public.
"Together, let us build an image of a good and clean government," said the president, adding that good and clean governance is part of the government's efforts to create a bureaucratic reform. (*)
